Everyone who has anything to do with horses should read these books, you’ll find them hard to put down!

Leslie coaches horse owners who have reached a plateau with their horses and want to advance their skills--through feel. Horsemanship through feel, natural horsemanship (as popularized in the movie "The Horse Whisperer") , passive leadership, and connected riding have many commonalities, but each philosophy differs in the refinement of the details of the art of horsemanship. True Horsemanship Through Feel is the first detailed horsemanship book of its kind. Leslie helps her students understand what "feel" is, and how to use feel to refine every aspect of being with horses, whether it is doing groundwork or mounted activities

Dr. Deb Bennet, Ph.D. who wrote “The Birdie Book” and set up The Equine Studies Institute in California. I have found her work inspirational and every thinking feeling horseman should read it. It encapsulates all that should be going on with communication with your horse.

Rachel makes made to measure tack and I have found her breeching really useful as it keeps the saddles off the shoulder and you can ride with a looser girth. The horses are much happier traveling downhill and the saddle doesn’t move on an endurance ride.
